Meet the Golden Cascade Chordsmen
Our Director
Al Downey has been singing barbershop since his high school days in 1973. Al sang bass with the 1976 Johnny Appleseed District Champions, the Matinée Idols, and directed his Church Choir since 1982. He began directing the Cascade Chordsmen as front line director in1997, and is a certified director in the Barbershop Harmony Society.
